Israel launched multiple strikes in southern Lebanon on Friday after agreeing to a ceasefire with the Lebanese government but not with Hezbollah.  Fighting continued on Thursday into Friday after Hezbollah rejected a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, describing the agreement as "false" and an "illusion." CBS reported early on Wednesday, Under the terms of the renewed ceasefire, Israel and Lebanon agreed Wednesday to create a number of "pilot" security zones inside Lebanon from which the militant group Hezbollah would be banned.
