Donald Trump joked about his marriage to Melania Trump during a speech welcoming King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the White House on Tuesday (28 April) for their US state visit. Referencing how his parents, Fred and Mary Trump, were married for 63 years, the president joked that he and the First Lady would not be able to match that length of time. "That’s a record we won’t be able to match, darling. I’m sorry, it’s just not going to work out that way. We’ll do well, but we’re not going to do that well," Trump said.
